Mineral Oil Rail Tank Cars

The VTG vehicle fleet comprises approx. 10,000 mineral oil rail tank cars for light and dark oil products, as well as petrochemical products.

The high-capacity wagons can transport high cargo volumes quickly, efficiently and in a product-oriented manner, particularly in block train services – an environment-friendly as well as economical option.

The mineral oil rail tank cars have a transport capacity of 26 m³ to 102 m³.

All new-build wagons for light oil products are generally equipped with forced ventilation and residue emptying. They are also fitted with a vapor return device on both sides.
