Femke Scholten (*1961, Den Haag)
Within the Executive Board, Femke Scholten is responsible for logistics and safety. Her responsibilities include the development of the Rail Logistics Division and the Tank Container Division
Ms. Scholten was born in the Netherlands. She earned Master’s Degrees in Inorganic Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from Leiden and Twente Universities, respectively.
Ms. Scholten started her career at Shell in 1990. By 2007 she had held various management positions within the group, serving as the Supply & Distribution Global Process Advisor from 2005 onwards. She came to VTG from the Australian-British BHP Billiton mining group, where in her capacity as Global Distribution Manager Energy Coal she managed the planning, implementation and delivery aspects of coal all the way from the mines to the customers on a worldwide basis.
Femke Scholten was appointed to the Executive Board of VTG AG in January of 2012.
